Good morning. Today's Easter. Hollandaise is afoot. Bacon and English muffins linger. So do egg-laying bunnies, marshmallow chickens, and Paloma Mimosas. Pastels are swarming. Seersucker has entered the chat. The lamb's happening. So are smoked trout deviled eggs. Is that an outdoor dining table? It's fine if the umbrella doesn't work—squinting at your relatives is preferable. Take a seat and rejoice, for brunch has risen. Can I have another mimosa yet? |

This week, I'm going to use this section to highlight the three drinks—some with and some without alcohol—that I cannot will not forget to enjoy this spring.
1. Anna May's Iced Tea Granita. Iced tea made somehow more refreshing. This also doubles as the beginning of an improved John Daly. 2. Magical Coffee. Good name. Better drink. Best way to kick off a day in the sun. Recipe here.
3. Rum Runner. A few months ago, with an $8 investment, I became the sole owner of a 144-pack of miniature drink umbrellas. I'd like to use them.
