Good morning. With summer officially underway, so too begins another always-too-short warm weather period: strawberry season. To celebrate the return of god's greatest gift to the berry kingdom (sorry raspberries, but you often have the structural integrity of Flubber), I'll be serving cartons upon cartons of Harry's berries the following three ways: |
- With Cheddar, Kale & Nuts. Plus a heavy dose of mustard vinaigrette provides the perfect backdrop for strawberries to shine through in a salad. We don't have this exact recipe on site, but Amanda's similar kale salad recipe provides you with the techniques to recreate this strawberry version.
- As Ridiculous Red Drinks. Think: things that someone might chug from a goblet at Applebee's, but without the sweetness of a thousand gummy worms. Like this strawberry margarita on the rocks. Is it a little silly? Maybe. Is it balanced, delicious, and the perfect thing to serve by the pitcher on the 4th of July? Yes, it is.
- On top of our best granola recipe. Good yogurt, better strawberries, and this olive oil and maple granola from Nekisia Davis is a pretty damn good start to the day.

In the summer, I want pizza. Preferably, made at home, in my backyard, on the grill. Just like this article outlines. And when it inevitably rains, I've got no problem using summer showers as an excuse to hone the perfect pan pizza. Regardless of the pizza making climate, you're going to need dough—so here are our four favorite pizza dough recipes to get you started. |

It was a bad week to be a lime in the Test Kitchen. First, César blended approximately one gazillion of them to make this Brazilian Limeade recipe (which I'll be enjoying with a rum floater next weekend). And then Nea gave key lime pie the gingersnap crust it's always wanted. You can find the recipe here. In other news, non-alcoholic beer maker Athletic Brewing is ramping up its production capacity. Find out why this is great news for the entire NA beer industry here. |

There's only one thing better than pasta salad—and that's steak salad. Especially this Spicy Thai Steak Salad from community member Merav. (I've made this recipe three times since Memorial Day.) |
