Easy! Overnight! Mix-and-Match Breakfast Buns!
Buns, hun! No Images? Click here Stella's Roadmap to the Best Breakfast Buns Nothing kicks off a weekend quite like waking up to the smell of cinnamon rolls wafting from the oven. Back in 2017, Stella published her iconic one-bowl, overnight cinnamon roll recipe, and lazy weekends mornings got so much sweeter. But she didn't stop there—no, she was on a roll! And as of this week, we now have four different riffs on that old favorite, all with that same no-fuss ethos. Let's start with the O.G. This recipe for cinnamon rolls takes only one bowl, and can be made in advance to bake and frost without any fuss. The bun itself is tender, soft, and light, with a bit of complexity of its own thanks to an overnight rise in the fridge. Now, remix! Thanks to deeply toasted sugar, these gooey sticky buns are quite literally dripping with caramel flavor. These breakfast buns feature made-from-scratch Nutella, making them perfect for the choco-fiends in your family. With homemade pistachio paste laced into the dough, filling, and frosting, every bite of these breakfast buns will be fragrant, nutty, and (yes) green. Don't forget our favorite 9- by- 13-inch pan This pan is our favorite for breakfast buns, brownies, coffee cakes, and more. The anodized-aluminum ensures they don't over-bake or burn on the bottom, which can be a problem with dark metal or glass pans. This little-known routine adjustment makes sure your attachments fully reach into the bowl to manipulate doughs, batters, and creams as they should. |
