I neglect pears. Even if they're perfectly ripe and staring at me eye-to-eye in the produce section, for some reason that I haven't yet uncovered (but maybe will someday), I am not physically capable of acknowledging their existence. But, if somebody offers me a pear—I'll eat it in two seconds. This is especially true if said pear has been baked into Nea's Parisian-inspired financier. Luckily, in our newest episode of Recipe Drop, she teaches us how to make it. You can watch it here.
Also, I wrote an article about why I enjoy making cocktails that include both nonalcoholic spirits and traditional alcohol. As for why, the reasons are simple: 1) NA spirits are delicious, and I like delicious things in my drinks; 2) Low ABV drinks make it easier to hang out with my friends longer; and 3) If you're on point three, you might as well just read the article.
