Good Morning. Tomorrow's Earth Day. To celebrate, I'm reducing my carbon footprint through the following measures:
1. Only flying private. Since I'm banned from most airlines after implementing the snacking recommendations from this old Food52 article (see: tuna sandwich), won't fly Boeing, and can't afford to fly private—I expect my transit emissions to plummet.
2. Cooking more Lucas Sin recipes. My goal is to eat less meat but consume more flavor—and when it comes to developing deep flavor in vegetables and tofu, few chefs top Lucas. Here are nine of his best recipes (I especially love the tofu and stir-fried greens).
3. Responsibly Drinking More Mezcal. A theory: The more often I make this Mezcal Amaro cocktail for friends, the more likely my peers will want to hang in my backyard for the night instead of ubering to every bar in and around town. So, technically speaking, that's an emissions reduction.
