Whether a rice cooker has been a countertop staple since your childhood, or you've been recently turned on to the magic of these unitaskers and want to pick the best one for you, we're here to help. (We're also here to tell you that the Instant Pot isn't the best tool for the job, but more on that in the full review!) Announcing the winners!  This inexpensive rice cooker was among the top performers for all our tests, from white rice to brown rice, and all the lengths in between.  While it's slightly more expensive, this rice cooker also received top marks for its small profile and customizable controls.
