Good morning. Today, NFL Sundays return—along with 18 straight weeks of high-volume conversations regarding false starts, fantasy teams, and, nowadays, Taylor Swift. That aside, football season promises one thing we can all get behind: a barrage of soul-lifting tailgate staples delicious enough to drown out even the loudest armchair-referee. Here are our favorite Sunday football snacks: Meat You Can Eat With Your Hands. Like these Korean Fried Chicken Wings. Or these grilled wings dusted in za'atar and served with fava bean feta dip. And definitely these braised baby back ribs. Also, for good measure, these grilled ribs with salt & pepper. Something Between Bread. Erin McDowell's chicken meatball sub is a great place to start. So is this turkey Swiss sloppy Joe. Better yet, bring out a platter of The Food Lab's ultra smashed burgers and have yourself an afternoon of griddled bliss. Dip. Of any kind, so long as you can shovel it from the bowl to your face using a chip. Possibilities include: caramelized onion dip, extra cheesy spinach artichoke dip, roasted red pepper & cauliflower dip, and Rebecca Firsker's harissa carrot dip. |

Well, you can watch that here. This week César also dabbled in "viral" cuisine, as he explored the strengths and weaknesses of the chicken salad sandwich from East Hampton-based Round Swamp Farm—a dish that's gotten more play recently than that Chappell Roan song. |

That said, it's shocking we've yet to round up her best recipes in a single place—so here's a start. In no particular order, here are three of my favorite Amanda recipes: |
