To prepare, I've combed through every crowd-friendly recipe on our site (read: anything that could be served on a platter), identified 15 favorites, and ranked them by how quickly they'd be inhaled by a crowd. With velocity of widespread consumption as the primary variable, these rankings naturally resist recipes that are primarily intended to remind everyone of just how talented, passionate, and trendy you are in the kitchen. But unlike some viral tinned fish bonanza, these platters will get eaten quickly—because they're delicious and straightforward.
